CONNECT LEEDS PROJECT

Citizens Advice Leeds is seeking candidates to join our new project- Connect Leeds- which aims to reduce digital exclusion among Citizens Advice Leeds service users. The Connect Leeds team will support service users to access digital services, including webchat and Skype, and to increase their skills and confidence in using digital services.

 

TELEPHONE AND DIGITAL SERVICES SUPERVISOR

Hours:           35 hours per week (full time)

Salary:           Scale 29-31 (£25,951- £27,668) + pension contribution

Citizens Advice Leeds is seeking a Telephone and Digital Services Supervisor to work on our exciting new project- Connect Leeds.

The successful candidate will provide supervision and support to the telephone/ digital staff and volunteer team with a particular emphasis on digital services including webchat and Skype.

The ability to work flexibly and efficiently in a demanding environment is essential, as is the ability to think on your feet, anticipate developments in advice services and a can do attitude.

Suitable candidates for the post will have experience of delivering generalist advice, supervising advice work and line management experience.

TRAINING OFFICER

 Hours:           17.5 hours per week

 Salary:           Scale points 26-29 (£23,398 - £25,951 p.a. pro rata) + pension

 Citizens Advice Leeds is seeking a Training Officer to work on our exciting new project- Connect Leeds.

The purpose of this post is to help Citizens Advice Leeds staff, volunteers and members of the public, prepare for the roll out of Universal Credit in Leeds, through delivery of training with a particular emphasis on Universal Credit, Welfare Benefits and digital skills.

The ability to work flexibly and efficiently in a demanding environment is essential, as is the ability to think on your feet and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences

Suitable candidates for the post will have considerable knowledge within Welfare Benefits advice work and experience of developing and delivering training using a wide range of training methods in addition to excellent organisational skills.

POWERHELP PROJECT

 

POWERHELP PROJECT ADVISER

Hours:                       35 hours per week (full time)

Salary:                       Scale points 25-28 (£22,658- £24,964 p.a.)+ pension

Contract:                  1 year fixed term

Citizens Advice Leeds is seeking an adviser to work on our exciting new project- PowerHelp.

The purpose of the post is to provide access to advice for customers referred by Northern Power Grid in the Yorkshire region.

The successful candidate will provide advice via telephone, Skype or other suitable channel with a particular emphasis on fuel poverty and energy issues. They will develop good working relationships with local Citizens Advice to help ensure customers from across Yorkshire can access the help they need,

The ability to work flexibly and efficiently in a demanding environment is essential, as is the ability to think on your feet and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Suitable candidates for the post will have experience of delivering generalist advice including debt, welfare benefits and housing
